This project was part of my earlier web design work which I have done for UWE Students’ Union.
I was tasked with creating a new freshers’ minisite, which had the capabilities of providing a lot of information from various departments (Freshers’ events, news, ticket information, university information and Union services).
The site uses a one-page format, with three different sections deveoped (Settle In, Join In, and Go Out/Homepage). The Settle In and Join In pages acted as pages of information and waypointing, with links to the main Union website and University website from the page. The Go Out/Homepage had call to actions for tickets and Freshers’ Fair, and latest information for new students.
Graphics and logo were new for 2012, and were created by Jack Smith.
