I’ve ended up effectively replacing my whole computer unexpectedly. I don’t know how I’ve done it, I’m just glad wages are in next week.

To start off, I replaced my sound card on the Dell, since the onboard had stopped working properly. I was then having problems with USB and other problems, so I get a decent replacement motherboard. I then find I can’t use the Dell case since the IO backplate is not removable (for that Dell, you are bastards). I then get a new case. I also get a new Power Supply Unit because the new motherboard ideally uses 4×4 motherboard connect. For some reason I still have Sound problems, to try and fix this I get a new processor, and since I’ve got most of a new computer I may as well get a new graphics card to accompany me. In the end I have a brand spanking new computer apart from RAM, hard drive and dvd drive.

All that just to fix a broken motherboard
